Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in India seeks a Director / Senior Delivery Leader to own end-to-end delivery governance, client relationships, and regulated execution for Large Pharma. The role requires senior leadership to manage globally distributed teams and partner with Capgemini executives.

You will lead artificial-intelligence driven initiatives, drive automation, and ensure quality and compliance across programs while focusing on growth, risk management, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 18+ years in engineering, technology, or consulting delivery.
• 8+ years in Pharma, Life Sciences, or regulated healthcare.
• 5+ years leading multi-workstream programs with 100+ professionals.
• Portfolio management of at least USD 10 million annually.
• Certification in PMP/PgMP/PRINCE2/SAFe/GxP/CSV preferred.

Role Summary

The role requires a senior leader capable of managing globally distributed teams and partnering effectively with client and Capgemini executives.

Key Responsibilities

• Own program delivery, governance, quality, financial performance, risks, dependencies, and executive escalations.
• Serve as the senior India interface for client and internal leadership.
• Ensure delivery compliance with applicable GxP, validation, quality, data-integrity, and audit requirements.
• Drive GenAI, agentic AI, automation, and engineering-productivity initiatives from concept to measurable adoption.
• Lead senior managers, program managers, architects, and multidisciplinary delivery teams.
• Build succession depth, improve capabilities, and reduce critical-resource dependencies.
• Support proposals, solutioning, transformation roadmaps, and account-growth opportunities.

Required Qualifications

• 18+ years in engineering, technology, or consulting delivery, including 8+ years in Pharma, Life Sciences, or regulated healthcare.
• At least 5 years leading complex multi-workstream programs with 100+ professionals.
• Experience managing or influencing a portfolio of at least USD 10 million annually.
• Strong knowledge of regulated delivery, GxP, CSV, quality systems, audit readiness, and CAPA.
• Demonstrated global client management and commercial leadership.
• Evidence of implementing at least three automation, data, or AI initiatives, with one reaching production or enterprise scale.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Management.
• PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, GxP, CSV, or quality certification is preferred.
