Role Description

The PGT Economics role is a full-time, on-site teaching position based at Gyan Jyoti Awasiya Vidyalaya in Arrah. The educator will plan and deliver engaging Economics lessons for higher secondary classes, aligned with the prescribed curriculum and the school’s pedagogical approach based on Bloom’s Taxonomy. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching theoretical and applied economics concepts, guiding learners through problem-solving and data interpretation, and using smart classroom technology to enhance learning. The role involves designing and assessing assignments, projects, and examinations, providing academic support and mentoring to students, and maintaining accurate records of learner performance. The PGT Economics faculty member will collaborate with colleagues, participate in school events and professional development activities, and contribute to a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment.

Qualifications
