Job summary

JobItUs invites applications for the position of PGT Chemistry Teacher. The role requires a Master of Science in Chemistry and a B.Ed., with a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level (Classes 11 and 12).

The incumbent will teach Chemistry following CBSE/ICSE curricula. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, practical files, assignments and assessments, conducting lab sessions with safety, tracking student progress, and coordinating with school meetings

Qualifications

• M.Sc. in Chemistry and B.Ed. mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at senior secondary level (Class 11–12).
• Strong knowledge of CBSE/ICSE curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Teach Chemistry to Classes 11 & 12 as per CBSE/ICSE curriculum
• Prepare lesson plans, practical files, assignments & assessments
• Conduct laboratory sessions and ensure safety standards
• Track student progress and take remedial sessions
• Prepare students for board exams
• Maintain classroom discipline and create an engaging learning environment
• Participate in school meetings, PTMs, academic planning & events
• Update subject knowledge and teaching methods regularly
