Job summary

Sherwood High in Bengaluru invites applications for an Accountancy and Commerce Teacher (ISC – Grades XI & XII) for the Academic Year 2026-27. The teacher will design and implement teaching plans and foster a positive learning environment.

Requirements include Graduation in chosen subject and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, 3-5 years ICSE board teaching experience, strong communication, and classroom management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a teacher with minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience in ICSE board is preferable.

• Proficient in the subject(s) she will be teaching.

• Planning, preparing, and presenting differentiated lessons that cater the needs of the whole ability range within their class.

• Meeting requirements for the assessment. Records, evaluates and reports student’s development.
• Providing feedback to parents on student's progress.
• Working collaboratively with others to plan and coordinate work.
• Organizing and taking part for school events, outings and activities.
• Undertake special assignments, ad-hoc functions, and related duties as and when required.
