Persistent Systems Limited is seeking an experienced Performance Testing Engineer to design and execute performance strategies using NeoLoad and Dynatrace. The role requires 5–10 years of hands-on performance testing, with strong knowledge of Kubernetes and end-to-end performance optimization across enterprise applications.

You will collaborate across Development, QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure to embed testing in SDLC, drive reliability, and enable scalable architectures in hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in performance engineering and testing.
• Hands-on with NeoLoad for designing, scripting, executing tests, and analyzing results.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud/on-prem deployments.

Responsibilities

• Perform load, stress, endurance, scalability, and capacity testing for enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with NeoLoad, Dynatrace, and Kubernetes and will be responsible for ensuring application scalability, reliability, and operational excellence. What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and execute performance test plans using NeoLoad to validate application scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Perform load, stress, endurance, scalability, and capacity testing for enterprise applications.
• Monitor application performance using Dynatrace and proactively identify bottlenecks, latency issues, and optimization opportunities.
• Analyze application, infrastructure, and database performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to integrate performance testing within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Develop performance testing strategies and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Analyze performance test results and prepare detailed reports with actionable recommendations.
• Troubleshoot complex performance issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Drive application tuning and optimization initiatives to improve system performance and reliability.
• Support performance validation activities during releases and production deployments.
• Continuously improve performance testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
• Participate in architecture discussions and provide performance engineering recommendations.
• Mentor junior team members on performance testing concepts, tools, and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in performance engineering and observability.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 5 to 10 years of experience in Performance Engineering and Performance Testing.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in NeoLoad for designing, scripting, executing, and analyzing performance tests.
• Proficiency in Dynatrace for application performance monitoring, observability, troubleshooting, and bottleneck analysis.
• Experience working with Kubernetes environments and containerized applications.
• Deep understanding of Load Testing, Stress Testing, Endurance Testing, Scalability Testing, and Capacity Testing methodologies.
• Strong experience analyzing performance metrics, application logs, and infrastructure utilization data.
• Ability to identify root causes of performance issues and provide optimization recommendations.
• Experience integrating performance testing into Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD-driven delivery environments.
• Strong knowledge of application architecture, web technologies, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Experience monitoring application performance across cloud and on‑premises environments.
• Strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience creating detailed performance reports and presenting findings to technical and business stakeholders.
• Proven ability to improve application scalability, reliability, and operational performance.
• Experience mentoring and guiding performance testing teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within Agile and Scrum methodologies.
