Job summary

Expleo in Chennai is hiring for a Lead Performance Tester / Senior Test Engineer / QA Lead to work from office.

You will drive performance testing across banking, payments, and FinTech domains, leveraging Java and JMeter to design and execute test scripts and analyze results.

Candidates should have 6+ years of hands-on experience, strong collaboration with DevOps for environments, and a focus on quality and scalability.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in performance testing and QA.
• Hands-on with JMeter and performance test scripting.
• Knowledge of banking/payments/FinTech domain and ISO-8583.

• Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to meet customer needs.
• Adapts to new technologies and techniques.
• Hands-on knowledge in using the features of JMeter.
• Demonstrates industry standard best practices in developing performance test scripts.
• Configure test scenarios, virtual user loads, and run conditions.
• Execute different types of performance tests (load, stress, endurance, spike, scalability).
• Monitor system performance (CPU, memory, network, DB, application logs) during test execution.
• Collaborate with DevOps/infra teams for environment and tool setup.
• Hands-On knowledge in Java language is a MUST.
• Have knowledge on ISO-8583 and cards domain.
