Job summary

Delta Capita's Report Hub platform seeks an experienced Performance Quality Engineer to ensure performance, scalability and resilience as client volumes grow.

You'll perform performance testing across applications, APIs, databases and cloud infrastructure, design load tests, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with engineering, DevOps and product teams to improve reliability in a hybrid setup in Bengaluru or Pune.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of practical experience in performance engineering or non-functional testing.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience analyzing application, database and infrastructure performance.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Join Report Hub, Delta Capita's market-leading regulatory reporting platform, supporting some of the world's largest financial institutions. We are seeking an experienced Performance Quality Engineer to ensure our platform continues to deliver exceptional performance, scalability and resilience as client volumes grow.

What You'll Do

• Performance testing and engineering activities across applications, APIs, databases and cloud infrastructure.

• Design and execute load, stress, endurance and scalability testing.

• Identify performance bottlenecks and drive optimisation initiatives.

• Define performance benchmarks, KPIs and service level objectives.

• Partner with Engineering, Architecture, DevOps and Product teams to improve platform reliability and client experience.

• Support capacity planning, production readiness and observability initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent 3 to 5 years of practical experience.

• Significant experience in performance engineering, non-functional testing or platform scalability testing.

• Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native architectures and microservices.

• Experience analysing application, database and infrastructure performance.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.

Desirable Skills

Experience with several of the following technologies:

• JMeter, k6, Gatling, LoadRunner or Azure Load Testing

• Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Dynatrace, Grafana or Splunk

• Microsoft Azure, AKS, Kubernetes and Docker

• REST APIs, Postman and microservices architectures

• SQL Server, Azure SQL and query optimisation

• Java, Python, PowerShell or JavaScript/TypeScript
