Job summary

NTT DATA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS is seeking an experienced ERP PeopleSoft Finance Techno Functional Specialist to manage end-to-end Financial data structures, configurations, CoA hierarchies, and validation rules. You will collaborate with global Finance users to translate business needs into metadata configurations and ensure data flow between ERP and systems.

Role requires hands-on expertise in PeopleSoft 9.2/ERP Cloud, GL/AR/AP, and complex security configurations, with strong SQL, SQR, and AEP

Qualifications

• Functional and technical expertise in PeopleSoft ERP or ERP Cloud with PeopleSoft GL/AR/AP.
• Proficiency in Oracle EDMCS/DRM or PeopleSoft Tree Manager; advanced Excel/Smart View.
• Solid understanding of the Record-to-Report cycle and GAAP/IFRS.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support PeopleSoft Financials GL, AR, AP, and ledger configurations.
• Manage CoA structures, segment values, and descriptions.
• Troubleshoot Application Engine, SQR, and PeopleSoft Security.
• Assist with upgrades, testing, and feature research in PUM images.
• Maintain cross-validation and security rules to prevent invalid data.
• Manage ledger mappings, reporting cube hierarchies, and consolidation metadata.
• Liaise between Finance owners and developers for system enhancements.
• Analyze root causes of metadata integration failures.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced ERP PeopleSoft Finance Techno Functional Specialist to support end-to-end management of PeopleSoft/Oracle ERP financial data structures, configuration, including the Chart of Accounts (CoA), hierarchies, and validation rules. Resource will collaborate with global Finance users to translate business needs into technical metadata configurations, design solutions, write or modify code using core peoplesoft tools and ensure seamless data flow between ERP and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support PeopleSoft Financials GL, AR, AP, commitment control, ledger configurations.
• Create and manage Chart of Accounts structures, including segment values and descriptions.
• Experience in Troubleshooting Application Engines, SQR and PeopleSoft Security.
• Research new features released in PUM images and assist with upgrades and testing
• Maintain Cross-Validation Rules and Security Rules to prevent invalid data entry.
• Manage Primary and Secondary Ledger mappings and reporting cube hierarchies.
• Maintain Customer and Supplier hierarchies to support consolidated reporting and credit management.
• Configure and update Payment Terms, distribution sets, and tax metadata.
• Manage Automated Reconciliation Rules to ensure sub-ledger to GL accuracy.
• Govern consolidation-specific metadata, including Intercompany (IC) elimination members and Legal Entity structures.
• Maintain account and entity hierarchies in Oracle EDMCS or DRM to ensure ERP and EPM synchronization.
• Act as the primary liaison between Finance business owners and technical developers for system enhancements.
• Perform root cause analysis on metadata-related integration failures between modules.

Qualifications & Skills

• Functional and technical Expertise in PeopleSoft ERP or ERP Cloud with PeopleSoft (GL, AR, AP, Cash Management).
• Proficiency in Oracle EDMCS, DRM, or PeopleSoft Tree Manager; advanced Excel/Smart View skills.
• Strong understanding of financial consolidation, GAAP/IFRS, and the Record-to-Report cycle.

Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on PeopleSoft 9.2 upgrade or production support experience
• Proficient in PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR and SQL
• Strong working knowledge of Integration Broker and Component Interfaces.
