NTT DATA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS is seeking an ERP Metadata and Functional Expert Support Specialist to bridge Finance business users and IT, ensuring the structural integrity of financial data across PeopleSoft ERP or Oracle ERP Cloud environments.

You will own end-to-end management of financial metadata structures, including Chart of Accounts, hierarchies, and validation rules, collaborating with global Finance teams to translate business needs into precise metadata configurations and seamless

Qualifications

• Experience configuring and managing PeopleSoft ERP or ERP Cloud metadata (GL/AR/AP).
• Strong understanding of financial consolidation and the Record-to-Report cycle (GAAP/IFRS).
• Experience with metadata integration between ERP and EPM systems (FCCS, Planning).

Responsibilities

• Support ERP GL, AR, AP users as SME for application.
• Configure and upgrade PeopleSoft/Oracle ERP metadata and support close activities.
• Create and manage Chart of Accounts structures and hierarchies.
• Maintain cross-validation rules and security rules.
• Manage primary/secondary ledger mappings and reporting cube hierarchies.
• Maintain customer and supplier hierarchies for reporting and credit management.
• Configure and update payment terms, distribution sets, and tax metadata.
• Manage automated reconciliation rules for sub-ledger to GL.
• Govern consolidation metadata, including intercompany elimination and legal entity structures.
• Maintain account and entity hierarchies in EDMCS or DRM for ERP/EPM sync.
• Act as liaison between Finance owners and developers for system enhancements.
• Perform root cause analysis on metadata-related integration failures.

Job description

This role functions as a critical bridge between Finance business users and IT, ensuring the structural integrity of financial data across PeopleSoft ERP or Oracle ERP Cloud environments.

Job Summary

The ERP Metadata and Functional Expert Support Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end management of PeopleSoft/Oracle ERP financial data structures, including the Chart of Accounts (CoA), hierarchies, and validation rules. Resource will collaborate with global Finance teams to translate business needs into technical metadata configurations and ensure seamless data flow between ERP and EPM (FCCS, Planning) systems.

Responsibilities

• Support PeopleSoft or Oracle Fusion ERP GL, AR, AP Users as SME for application.
• Perform PeopleSoft Application Configurations, PUM Upgrade and retrofit Analysis. Support Month, Quarter and Year End Finance close activities.
• Create and manage Chart of Accounts structures, including segment values and descriptions.
• Maintain Cross-Validation Rules and Security Rules to prevent invalid data entry.
• Manage Primary and Secondary Ledger mappings and reporting cube hierarchies.
• Maintain Customer and Supplier hierarchies to support consolidated reporting and credit management.
• Configure and update Payment Terms, distribution sets, and tax metadata.
• Manage Automated Reconciliation Rules to ensure sub-ledger to GL accuracy.
• Govern consolidation-specific metadata, including Intercompany (IC) elimination members and Legal Entity structures.
• Maintain account and entity hierarchies in Oracle EDMCS or DRM to ensure ERP and EPM synchronization.
• Act as the primary liaison between Finance business owners and technical developers for system enhancements.
• Perform root cause analysis on metadata-related integration failures between modules.

Qualifications Skills

• Functional and technical Expertise in PeopleSoft ERP or ERP Cloud with PeopleSoft (GL, AR, AP, Cash Management).
• Nice to have Proficiency in Oracle EDMCS, DRM,
• PeopleSoft Tree Manager; advanced Excel/Smart View skills.
• Strong understanding of financial consolidation, GAAP/IFRS, and the Record-to-Report cycle.
