• Keep records of attendance, progress and performance.

Job Description

CSA – PE Swimming Coach

Purpose of Role

To provide professional swimming coaching to students, developing their swimming techniques, physical fitness, confidence, discipline, and competitive skills while ensuring a safe and positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct structured swimming coaching sessions based on students’ age, ability, and skill level.
• Teach and develop proper swimming techniques, strokes, breathing, starts, turns, and endurance.
• Assess students’ abilities and monitor their individual progress and performance.
• Provide regular technical guidance, correction, and feedback to improve swimming skills.
• Ensure strict adherence to pool safety rules and water safety procedures during all sessions.
• Maintain effective supervision and discipline to ensure student safety and well-being.
• Prepare and train students for swimming competitions, sports meet, and inter-school events.
• Maintain records of student attendance, participation, skill development, and performance.
• Ensure swimming equipment and training areas are safe, clean, organized, and properly maintained.
• Coordinate with the PE Coordinator, teachers, and School Management regarding student progress, competitions, training schedules, and other sports activities.
