Job summary

Nordex Group in Chennai, India, seeks an experienced Electronics/Electrical engineer to coordinate and support multiple engineering sub-departments for timely recipe releases and to optimize PCMS-driven processes.

The role requires hands-on PCMS experience, knowledge of Nordex windfarm controllers or turbines, and strong collaboration across teams with excellent written and spoken English. 5+ years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electronics / Electrical.
• Experience with PCMS application preferred.
• Configuring Nordex Windfarm controllers and/or turbines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support engineering sub-departments for timely recipe releases.
• Support PCMS-linked engineering processes.
• Address gaps identified by PM-EPC and Service departments.
• Assist system departments to create and maintain recipes.
• Define constraint-tables and hardware variants with system departments and PM-EPC.
• Improve PCMS usability within ENG.
• Identify and facilitate PCMS-related trainings.
• Prepare relevant documents.

Job description

• Co-ordinating and supporting various engineering sub-departments for the timely release of recipes.
• Support the engineering processes linked to PCMS.
• Solve the gaps addressed by PM-EPC and Service departments (like missing recipes, TNs not reflected in recipes etc)
• Support the engineering processes linked to PCMS.
• Support the system departments to create and maintain recipes.
• Define constraint-tables and hardware variants with system departments and PM-EPC.
• Increase the usability of the PCMS tool in ENG.
• Identify and facilitate trainings related to PCMS.
• Preparation of relevant documents.

Your Profile:

• Engineering degree in Electronics / Electrical (ideally with a focus on renewable energy technologies)
• Preference: rich experience in working with PCMS application.
• Good knowledge and experience in configuring Nordex Windfarm controllers and/or Turbines.
• Good interpersonal skills to work with different teams and departments.
• English (very good written and spoken)
• 5+ Years of Experience
