Job summary

Forward is seeking a seasoned wealth management professional in Mumbai to design integrated plans, advise across products, and drive growth with HNI clients. You will review portfolios and work with product teams to optimize performance.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience in wealth management or related financial services, with a strong network and a proven ability to acquire affluent clients, and solid knowledge of Indian equity markets.

Qualifications

• 3–12 years of relevant experience in wealth management or related financial services.
• Experience managing HNI/UHN I clients and a strong client network.
• Excellent understanding of Indian equity markets and investment products.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive wealth management: design integrated plans based on client risk profiling.
• Cross-product advisory across mutual funds, PMS/AIF, structured products, direct equity, and unlisted opportunities.
• Portfolio reviews with internal product and research teams.
• HNI acquisition and mining to expand AUM.
• Regulatory compliance with KYC, SEBI rules, and internal frameworks.

Role & responsibilities

1. Comprehensive Wealth Management: Designing integrated plans for wealth creation, preservation, and enhancement based on in-depth client risk profiling
2. Cross-Product Advisory: Showcasing and selling the entire product suite of Kotak Group, including Mutual Funds, PMS/AIF strategies, structured products, alternative assets, direct equity, and unlisted opportunities.
3. Portfolio Reviews: Conducting periodic performance reviews of client portfolios in collaboration with the internal product and research teams.
4. HNI Acquisition & Mining: Identifying potential wealthy clients to build strong financial relationships while continuously mining existing portfolios to expand total Asset Under Management (AUM).
5. Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring absolute compliance with KYC, SEBI rules, and internal legislative frameworks governing financial markets.

Candidate Profile

• 3-12 years of relevant experience in Wealth Management, Private Banking, Broking, Investment Advisory, Asset Management, or a related financial-services business.
• Demonstrated experience managing HNI / Ultra-HNI clients.
• Strong existing client network and proven ability to acquire affluent clients.
• Good understanding of Indian equity markets and investment products.
