Job Name: PB Teller Authorizer - Retail Branch Banking

Business Unit (PA): Retail Branch Banking

Team: Retail Branch Banking

Reports to: Branch Manager

Job Purpose

Supervising and monitoring branch transactions and sales to enhance existing account value and retain the current portfolio.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Supervise & monitor Personal Banker desks and contract sales staff.
  2. Manage branch administration and lobby.
  3. Ensure quality customer service and resolve customer queries/complaints.
  4. Monitor staff productivity and guide improvements with the Branch Manager.
  5. Oversee dummy accounts, suspense accounts, deferred accounts, accounts payable/receivable.
  6. Ensure branch operations and audit compliance.
Transactional Responsibilities
  1. Authorize Personal Banker transactions.
  2. Process corporate salaries.
  3. Manage costs and staff productivity.
  4. Handle cash and customer transactions at teller counters.
  5. Supervise non-cash transactions like DD/MC, fund transfers.
  6. Penetrate savings accounts among non-liability customers.
  7. Maintain reconciliation and suspense accounts as per format.
Sales Responsibilities
  1. Branch merchandising and generate business.
  2. Cross-sell and monitor cross-sales of Personal Bankers.
  3. Generate leads for third-party products.
  4. Ensure teller training on bank products.
