Job summary

Orcapod Consulting Services in Bengaluru is seeking a Reporting - Payroll Analyst / Team Manager who can translate payroll reporting needs into precise requirements, collaborate with business users, managers, and vendors, and build automated audits to support payroll processes.

You will develop end-to-end solutions using SQL, Python, Dataiku, and other tools, ensure data governance and SOX compliance, mentor finance data specialists, and communicate insights clearly to finance leadership through

Reporting -Payroll Analyst / Team Manager on paper

Description

• Collaborate with business users, payroll managers, and vendors to translate complex business reporting needs into well-dened functional requirements and deliver the same.
• Supporting multiple reporting ask from dierent external and internal teams.
• Build automated audits to support payroll audits and centralization
• Building the reports in new age technologies like in SAP HR, ADP GV, Dataiku, AI technologies
• Data Savvy: Leverage data from diverse sources (Snowake, EDW, external APIs, etc.) to fuel technology solutions and advanced analytics to generate the reports.
• Solution Development & Deployment: Develop end-to-end solutions, leveraging a modern technology stack (SQL, Python, Dataiku, cloud platforms) to create stand-alone or integrated AI models, data visualizations, and analytic applications.
• Insight Communication & Storytelling: Translate complex data insights into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for Finance stakeholders and leadership, using compelling visualizations and data storytelling techniques.
• Data Governance & Security: Awareness of data security protocols and privacy and SOX requirements, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and policies
• Knowledge in building audits and control in operational process
• AI Technology Research & Evaluation: Continuously research and evaluate emerging AI technologies, data science methodologies, and data visualization tools to enhance the team's technical capabilities and drive innovation.
• Finance Data Wizard Enablement: Mentor and guide Finance data wizards, providing technical expertise, best practices, and governance models.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Deep technical and functional knowledge on data modelling and processes that are supported within Client - Employee Systems (HR), UKG, ADP Global view Payroll, SAP HR
• Data Governance & Security: Awareness of data security protocols and privacy and SOX requirements, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and policies
• This role requires strong functional, technical, problem solving, and analytical skills. Experience with, or the ability to quickly learn business processes, an eagerness to learn new technologies, and strong communication and inuencing skills are key dierentiators.
• Strong knowledge in delivering the recurring reporting ask and collaborate with them
• Understanding of relational database concepts and hands-on experience with common database platforms
• Knowledge in payroll and nance dataset to build the reports and audits.
• Data modelling experience using large datasets and ability to interpret the output of those large datasets
• Demonstrated prociency with common data visualization tools such as Dataiku, Tableau
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to eectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract, understand, and document business requirements
• Understanding of modern data security requirements, experience with applying data encryption and data security standards a plus
• Corporate nance and accounting experience a major advantage
• Having payroll data model and function is a plus
