  • Lead the financial input into the hotel strategic plan.
  • Prepare daily cash reports and hotel deposits.
  • Establish internal controls for revenue and expenses.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and provide timely reports.

Job description

· Lead the financial input into the formulation and implementation of the Hotel Strategic Plan and Budget, and other key strategic planning exercises.

· Responsible for preparing the daily Cash Report.

· Responsible for preparing the daily hotel deposit and sending it to the bank.

· Responsible for auditing the cashier's daily deposits.

· Maximize cash flow performance of the hotel.

· Responsible for balancing the General Cash safe daily.

· Establish adequate internal controls and procedures for all revenues and expenses to safeguard assets.

· Receive payroll, attendance, and claims from all departments, process them to determine net pay, reconcile basic salary, and verify leave and other deductions.

· Perform additional duties assigned by management and assist in other areas of accounting as needed.

· Deal honestly and fairly with clients, customers, suppliers, and financial partners to ensure the long-term success of the company.

· Maintain and report accurate and timely financial and operational information, providing analysis, interpretations, and projections following the finance manual guidelines.

· Take responsibility for the professional development of all finance staff at the associate level, including identifying training needs and supporting staff training attendance.

· Obtain appropriate legal counsel regarding hotel business practices and stay informed about local laws, rules, and regulations.

· Ensure safekeeping of all contracts, leases, and financial records, including proper storage and access.

· Interact with external parties such as the hotel’s bank and tax auditors as required.
