Job summary

AICS Consultancy Service Private Limited in Basna, Chhattisgarh seeks a qualified Pathologist to examine tissue samples, perform and interpret histopathology and related tests, and prepare detailed reports for physicians and patients. Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in pathology.
• MD or DNB from a recognized institution.
• Valid registration with the State Medical Council or National Medical Commission.
• Strong knowledge of clinical pathology principles and practices.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, doctors, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Examining tissue and biopsy samples to identify diseases such as cancer, infections, and inflammatory conditions.
• Performing and interpreting histopathology, cytology, hematology, and clinical pathology investigations.
• Preparing accurate and detailed pathology reports for physicians and patients.
• Performing or supervising procedures such as fine-needle aspiration (FNA) and biopsies.
• Communicating diagnostic findings with surgeons, physicians, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Providing guidance on additional tests or investigations needed to establish a diagnosis.
• Maintaining quality control, laboratory safety, and compliance with medical standards and regulations.
• Keeping accurate patient records and maintaining confidentiality of medical information.
• Staying updated on new diagnostic techniques, medical research, and advances in pathology.
