Job Description

🚀 We’re seeking a seasoned Patent Attorney with proven expertise in IP strategy development and global implementation for APIs. If you excel in partnering across Legal, R&D, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Portfolio, and Commercial teams to provide patent support for product development and commercialization worldwide, this leadership opportunity is designed for you. 🌍💡

Key Responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end support to Portfolio, R&D, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs and Commercial Associates from initiation of the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) project through launch.
• Conduct FTO analysis and patentability assessments.
• Draft and prosecute patents.
• Determine launch strategy, assess risks associated with launch and manufacturing of the API, and address these risks.
• Collaborate with outside counsel to develop positions on relevant patents and manage oppositions and litigations worldwide, including European Patent Office Oppositions and similar actions in national patent offices.
• Manage outside counsel opinions to ensure high‑quality work product on time and within budget.

Qualifications

🎓 Qualified Indian Patent Attorney. Advanced degree in relevant science preferred.

• Preference for prior in‑house patent experience.
