Job summary

Rostrum Education is seeking a Partnerships & Outreach Associate to build, manage, and expand Rostrum’s external partnership ecosystem across NGOs, mentors, internship organisations, and project providers.

The role requires a proactive, relationship-oriented individual who can identify partners, formalise MoUs, and work with the counselling and Accounts teams to fulfil student requirements and track commissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in partnerships, business development, outreach, or a similar role.
• Strong communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and follow-up skills.
• Proactive and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partnership development and management with NGOs, external mentors, internship organisations, project providers, and other organisations.
• Coordinate MoUs and maintain a partnerships database.
• Work with counsellors to understand student requirements and identify suitable opportunities and partners.

Position Overview:

The Partnerships & Outreach Associate will be responsible for building, managing, and expanding Rostrum’s external partnership ecosystem across NGOs, external mentors, internship organisations, project providers, and other relevant organisations that can support student profile-building requirements.

The role requires a proactive, relationship-oriented individual who can identify relevant partners, establish and maintain long-term relationships, formalise partnerships through MoUs, and work closely with the counselling team to understand student requirements and fulfil them through the right external opportunities. The role will also involve coordinating with the Accounts team to track partnership-related commissions, ensuring timely follow-ups, accurate records, and smooth financial coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Partnership Development & Management:

• Identify and build partnerships with NGOs, external mentors, internship organisations, project providers, and other relevant organisations
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective partners
• Negotiate and coordinate the execution of MoUs and maintain an updated partnership database
• Work closely with counsellors to understand student requirements and proactively identify suitable opportunities and partners
• Coordinate with external partners to fulfil requirements within the required timelines
• Stay updated on available opportunities and continuously expand the partner network based on evolving counselling needs

3. Commercial & Accounts Coordination:

• Coordinate with the Accounts team to track partnership-related commissions and ensure timely receipt of payments
• Maintain accurate records of commercial terms, commissions, and outstanding payments, and follow up with relevant stakeholders as required

4. Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of partner details, MoUs, opportunities, engagement history, and commission-related information
• Track partnership activity and provide regular updates on new partnerships, requirements fulfilled, and pending items

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
• 1 - 3 years of experience in partnerships, business development, relationship management, outreach, or a similar role
• Strong communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and follow-up skills
• Proactive and self-driven approach with strong ownership and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in MS Office, G Suite, and CRM/database management tools
