Responsibilities

Academic Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Psychology lessons aligned with the CISCE (ISC) curriculum.
• Develop annual, term-wise, weekly, and daily lesson plans.
• Ensure effective classroom instruction using interactive and student-centred teaching methodologies.
• Prepare students for the ISC Board Examinations through regular assessments, revision plans, and examination strategies.
• Integrate case studies, discussions, projects, research, and practical applications into classroom teaching.
• Promote inquiry-based learning and critical thinking.

Assessment Evaluation

• Design and administer formative and summative assessments.
• Evaluate answer sheets and provide constructive feedback to students.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and academic progress.
• Identify students requiring academic support and conduct remedial sessions.
• Prepare report cards and participate in parent-teacher meetings.

Classroom Management

• Maintain a disciplined, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.

Administrative Responsibilities

• Maintain attendance, assessment records, and academic documentation.
• Complete all school records and reports within stipulated timelines.
• Support school events, examinations, admissions, and other academic activities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree (M.A./M.Sc.) in Psychology.
• B.Ed. from a recognized university (preferred/mandatory as per school policy).
• Additional certifications in Counselling or Child Psychology will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience in ISC/ICSE, CBSE, or reputed schools.
• Experience teaching ISC Psychology (Grades XI XII) is preferred.
• Proven track record of excellent board examination results.
