Job Description

An agent needs to sell LIC insurance products to potential customers and earn commissions. This job can be done online from home and is not necessarily a field job.

It is a commission-based role with no commitments, allowing you to choose full-time or part-time engagement.

LIC Products

• Endowment Plans: Cover life risks and provide savings or substantial sums of money.
• Pension Plans: Cover life risks and offer periodic payouts.
• Investment Plans (ULIPs): Combine mutual funds with life cover.
• Term Plans: Cover life risks at minimal premiums.
• Health Plans: Cover hospital expenses along with life risks.

Responsibilities of an Agent

• Prospect customers and recommend suitable products.
• Follow up with customers to ensure good renewable commissions.

Commission Cycle

Payments are made twice a month, on the 1st and 16th.

Remuneration

• For policies over 15 years: 25% + 10% bonus on first-year premiums, with decreasing percentages in subsequent years.
• For policies 10-14 years: 20% + 8% bonus on first-year premiums, with similar decreasing commissions.
• For policies 5-9 years: 10% + 4% bonus on first-year premiums, then 5% annually.
