upGrad is expanding its Offline Learning Centres and seeks a part-time Data Science Instructor in Bhubaneshwar to balance professional commitments while mentoring students and working professionals in a classroom setting.

You will deliver in-person lectures on DS/ML topics, guide projects, collaborate with Centre Managers, and help learners build practical skills while staying current with industry trends and tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of teaching in Data Science, ML, or related fields.
• Strong programming in Python with understanding of SQL and Excel.
• Solid grasp of ML/DL concepts such as Regression, Trees, Ensemble, Neural Networks, NLP, Recommenders.
• Strong communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.

upGrad is expanding its Offline Learning Centres, and we are looking for a dynamic, part-time Data Science Instructor in Bhubaneshwar

Type: Part-Time

Batch Time - 8 to 10 am

Location: Bhubaneshwar (In-person classroom delivery)

Key Responsibilities

Deliver in-person lectures and training sessions in Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning and related domains.

Guide learners through concepts, case studies, and projects to ensure strong understanding and application.

Collaborate with Centre Managers and academic teams to monitor learner progress and outcomes.

Support students with doubt-solving, mentorship, and building career-ready skills.

Continuously update knowledge and content to stay current with industry trends and tools.

Skills & Experience

Minimum 2+ years of teaching/training experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or related fields.

Strong programming skills in Python and understanding of SQL, Excel.

Solid grasp of ML/DL concepts such as Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forests, Ensemble methods, Neural Networks, NLP, Recommendation Systems, etc.

Strong communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.

Comfortable with both classroom delivery and online teaching (camera-facing).

Education: BE/ B.Tech (minimum); Postgraduate preferred.
