The opportunity:

Hitachi Energy is recruiting a Paralegal. In this capacity, you will be part of our Legal Operations Team. You will actively support the Global Legal & Integrity Team. As an organizational talent, you take care of our customers in the background, handling documents and urgent matters.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Assist lawyers in the preparation of documents including the drafting, reviewing and amending materials such as Contracts like NDA, Sales Contract and GTCs.
  • Assist in editing and proofreading various contracts and draft legal correspondence.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and opportunities, ensuring delivery of a document with high quality.
  • Summarize key provisions from contracts.
  • Be part of the further development of services towards the legal & integrity function.
  • Support the Integrity functions with audit and in Integrity investigations: interview note taking & preparing statements.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

  • LL.B. / B.L. from a recognized University with a bachelor's degree in a comparable field.
  • Minimum 2 Years experience in related work area.
  • Experience with tools like Salesforce, CLM tool, Compliance desktop etc, shall be preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft O365, specifically, MS Lists, Teams, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, manage time-sensitive documents and have exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills and excellent understanding of contracts and legal terminology.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
