Job summary

Wheels India Ltd. is seeking a Paint Shop Engineer Manager for the Paint Shop Auto Components department in Ranjangaon, Pune.

The role requires 3–4 years of hands-on experience in ED coating and spray painting, with a strong background in paint shop operations and cost control. You will lead technical activities and drive productivity improvements, coordinating with Production, Quality and Maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in ED coating and spray painting is required.
• Strong knowledge of paint shop operations and processes.
• Proven ability to plan manpower, materials and resources effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage paint shop technical and engineering activities.
• Identify and implement productivity and continuous improvement projects.
• Control rework, rejection and overhead costs.
• Identify paint defects and drive corrective actions.
• Monitor process efficiency, quality, and productivity.
