Job summary

Ericsson India is seeking an Integration Engineer to manage and implement integration services across core network upgrades. You will collaborate with regional Solution Designers and Operations to meet requirements, deadlines, and adapt priorities as needed.

Responsibilities include planning upgrades (S/SGSN-MME, AMF/SMF/UPF), health checks, software installation, traffic migrations, and ensuring zero/low service impact.

Qualifications

• Total years of experience: 3 to 11 years.
• Strong knowledge of 4G EPC & 5G Core architecture.
• Hands-on with MME/SGW/PGW/AMF/SMF/UPF/PCF.
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems.
• Experience with Virtualization/Cloud (OpenStack, Kubernetes).
• Familiar with CI/CD tools.
• Experience in log analysis and tracing.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under high-pressure maintenance windows.
• Good stakeholder communication and coordination.
• Customer-facing experience preferred.
• Successful upgrade activity execution with low service impact.
• Accurate reporting and documentation.
• Automation to reduce manual effort.
• Improved network stability post upgrades.

• Perform pre-checks, health checks, and post-upgrade validations.
• Execute software installation, patching, and traffic migration activities.
• Ensure service continuity during maintenance windows and traffic cutovers.
• Troubleshoot integration and post-upgrade issues across network elements.
• Work closely with Solution Architects, Design, and Operations teams.
• Support rollback planning and execution in case of failures.
• Maintain and update Method of Procedure (MoP) and documentation.
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting (Python/Shell preferred).
• Ensure compliance with customer SLAs and quality standards.
