Job summary

Vetic is seeking a packaging design professional to lead artwork development across multiple SKUs and formats. You will adapt master designs while ensuring brand consistency and effective use of packaging space.

The role involves working with dielines, preparing print-ready files, and coordinating with printers. You'll contribute to visual layouts, 3D mock-ups, and product imagery for catalogs and marketplace listings, while managing version-controlled artwork updates and maintaining high

• Min 2-5 years in packaging design, artwork development, and execution.
• Experience handling packaging adaptations across multiple SKUs, variants, and formats.
• Experience working with print vendors/production partners and managing print-ready artwork.

Responsibilities

• Create and design packaging artworks across multiple SKUs, variants, pack sizes, and formats.
• Adapt master designs across the product portfolio while maintaining visual consistency and brand guidelines.
• Organise and fit product information, claims, and communication effectively within the available packaging space.
• Work with KLDs/dielines, bleed areas, margins, folds, cut lines, and other packaging specifications.
• Prepare and release technically accurate, colour-separated, and print-ready files to printers and production partners.
• Apply knowledge of CMYK, Pantone, colour specifications, and print requirements during artwork development.
• Develop layouts with typography, colour, imagery, and visual hierarchy across packaging and product communication.
• Create high-quality product images and visual assets for catalogues, PDPs, and marketplace listings.
• Create packaging mock-ups and product visualisations for internal reviews, presentations, and launch planning.
• Manage artwork changes, revisions, and updates while ensuring version control, accuracy, and consistency.
• Handle a high volume of artwork adaptations while maintaining quality and brand consistency.
• Ensure all final artwork is accurate and production-ready.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking and visual research to identify trends for new launches.
• Support the development of design guidelines, mood boards, and visual directions.

Key Responsibilities:

Packaging Design & Artwork Development:

Research & Design Direction:

• Conduct competitive benchmarking and visual research to identify relevant packaging, category, and design trends for new launches.
• Support the development of design guidelines, mood boards, and visual directions.
• Source and manage relevant illustrations and images through platforms such as Freepik, Shutterstock, and other image libraries.

Requirements:

Experience:

• Min 2-5 yrs of experience in packaging design, artwork development, and execution.
• Experience handling packaging adaptations across multiple SKUs, variants, and formats.
• Experience working with print vendors/production partners and managing print-ready artwork

Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and other design software as required.
• Strong understanding of KLDs/dielines, packaging specifications, and print production.
• Knowledge of CMYK, Pantone, colour separation, and print-ready file preparation.
• Ability to create 3D packaging mock-ups and product visualisations.
• Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, colour, and imagery.
• Strong creative acumen with an eye for design consistency and detail.
• Strong organisational, file management, and version-control skills.
• Ability to manage multiple artwork revisions and adaptations efficiently.
• Strong capability in competitive benchmarking, category research, and visual analysis.
