Job summary

IBM India Private Limited is seeking a data conversion specialist to plan, analyze, and lead data conversion projects including EIB and Workday integrations. You will design and implement solutions, manage end-to-end delivery, and provide post-implementation support for diverse clients in a hybrid work environment.

Required 6–8 years of experience in data conversion and consulting, with a strong focus on data quality and Workday tooling.

Qualifications

Experience with data conversion projects including planning, analysis and scoping.
Exposure to Workday packaged solutions and leveraging this for client outcomes.
Experience in a consulting capacity delivering client-facing results.
Knowledge of methods to progressively enhance data quality during conversion.
Experience implementing solutions and providing post-implementation support.

Responsibilities

Plan and analyze data conversion projects including EIB for quality data conversions.
Design sessions to develop client-focused solutions and ensure smooth rollout and support.

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting FutureNow Centers, where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Plan and Analyze Data Conversion: Plan, analyze, and scope data conversion projects, including EIB, to ensure efficient and effective data conversion and progressive enhancement of data quality.
Design and Implement Solutions: Participate in design sessions to develop solutions that meet client needs and ensure successful rollout and post-implementation support.
Deliver Client-Facing Results: Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and deliver data conversion solutions that meet their expectations.
Manage Data Conversion Process: Manage the data conversion process from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results.
Support Post-Implementation: Provide post-implementation support to ensure client satisfaction and address any issues that may arise.

Exposure to Data Conversion: Experience working with data conversion projects, including EIB, with a focus on planning, analysis, and scoping to ensure efficient and effective data conversion.
Workday Packaged Solution Expertise: Exposure to Workday packaged solutions, with an understanding of how to leverage this expertise to achieve client-expected business results.
Consulting Skills: Experience working in a consulting capacity, utilizing business knowledge and expertise to deliver client-facing results.
Data Quality Enhancement: Exposure to methods and techniques for progressively enhancing data quality during the conversion process.
Implementation and Support: Experience with implementing solutions and providing post-implementation support to ensure client satisfaction.

Preferred technical and professional experience

Data Conversion Methodologies: Exposure to various data conversion methodologies and tools, including EIB, to enhance data quality and conversion efficiency.
Advanced Workday Features: Familiarity with advanced features of Workday packaged solutions, enabling more effective solution design and implementation.
Business Process Analysis: Understanding of business process analysis techniques to identify client needs and develop tailored data conversion solutions.
