Qualifications

• Certifications in OutSystems (O11 & ODC) are advantageous.

Job description

For an international project in Chennai, we are urgently looking for an OutSystems Architect to lead solution architecture, design and implementation of enterprise grade applications on the OutSystems platform.

We are looking for a motivated contractor. Candidates need to be fluent in English.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, modular OutSystems applications (Reactive Web, Mobile and ODC) aligned to enterprise architecture standards;
• Integrate OutSystems apps with AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) and enterprise systems, with attention to networking, security, and cost optimization;
• Define and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and microservices; ensure reliable data exchange and workflow orchestration;
• Establish and enforce secure coding practices, IAM policies, and compliance controls across OutSystems and AWS environments;
• Lead automated build/deploy pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform or CloudFormation) to accelerate delivery;
• Run solution design sessions, mentor developers, perform code/architecture reviews, and drive performance tuning and troubleshooting;
• Produce detailed technical documentation and lead knowledge transfer sessions to operational teams;

Profile

• +8 years of experience and proficiency in OutSystems architecture, development, and deployment; proven delivery in Reactive Web and Mobile;
• Hands on experience with core AWS services, networking, security, and cost optimization;
• Deep experience with REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, and enterprise connectivity patterns;
• Practical experience implementing pipelines and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation);
• Strong grasp of secure coding, IAM, and regulatory considerations in hybrid environments;
• Ability to design scalable, reusable, modular components across hybrid cloud and low code stacks;
• Excellent communication; ability to mentor, influence, and partner with cross functional teams;
• Demonstrated success resolving complex technical challenges;
• Demonstrate relevant certifications in O11 & ODC;
• Prior modernization of legacy platforms into low code on OutSystems is an advantage;
