An OT Technician, also known as an Operating Room Technician or Surgical Technologist, is responsible for assisting surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures.

  1. Preparing the operating room for surgical procedures by ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in good working order.
  2. Preparing the patient for surgery by cleaning and disinfecting the surgical site and positioning the patient on the operating table.
  3. Monitoring the patient's vital signs during surgery and alerting the surgical team of any changes or abnormalities.
  4. Collecting and preparing specimens for laboratory analysis.
