Responsibilities

• Perform and assist in orthopaedic surgical procedures including total joint arthroplasty, arthroscopic surgeries, and trauma‑related interventions.
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including history‑taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of imaging studies (X‑rays, MRI, CT scans).
• Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with joint degeneration, sports injuries, fractures, and post‑traumatic conditions.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient recovery.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and emergency trauma response as required.
• Stay current with advancements in orthopaedic techniques, technologies, and evidence‑based practices through continuous professional development.
• Support teaching and training activities for medical students and residents under supervision.

Requirements

• MBBS degree with a specialization in Orthopaedic Surgery (MS Orthopaedics or equivalent).
• Completion of a structured residency or internship program with documented experience in orthopaedic surgery.
• Proficiency in arthroplasty (hip and knee replacements), arthroscopy (knee and shoulder), trauma management (Truma), and knee surgery.
• Strong understanding of surgical instrumentation, sterile technique, and patient safety protocols.
• Excellent diagnostic, analytical, and decision‑making skills.
