Job summary

Siemens Mobility in India seeks a seasoned engineer to manage MV AIS Panel orders, coordinating with sales, engineering and factory teams to ensure timely delivery and contractual compliance.

You will review techno-commercial contracts, secure drawings from customers, arrange FAT/dispatch activities, and handle escalations while maintaining strong customer relations.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge about medium voltage power distribution system and protection for AIS panels.
• Knowledge of IS/IEC standards applicable for MV systems.
• CRM development and negotiation skills. Able to connect at higher management level.
• Good communication skills both written and verbal in contractual language with customers.
• Capable to interact independently with client for technical discussions.
• Prior experience in customer handling functions is advantageous.
• Able to handle complex situations and escalations from customers and factory delays.

Responsibilities

• Overall order management for MV AIS Panel orders with sales, engineering, factory and customer coordination.
• Review techno-commercial contracts and ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with Engineering for submission of drawings and documents to customer.
• Obtain drawing approvals from customers.
• Submit claims and negotiate with customers.
• Monitor costs and milestones during order execution.
• Coordinate with Factory and Logistics for scheduling.
• Coordinate with customer for FAT and dispatch activities.
• Coordinate post-dispatch service activities.
• Escalation management with higher management at customer end.

Main responsibilities:

Overall order management for MV AIS Panel orders which include coordination with sales, engineering, factory and customer including following Key Responsibilities:

• 1) Techno-commercial contract review


• 2) Coordination with Engineering for submission of Drawings and other engineering documents to customer


• 3) Getting drawing approval from customer


• 4) Claim submission and negotiation with customer


• 5) Cost and overall milestone monitoring throughout the order execution


• 6) Close coordination with Factory and logistic for scheduling of orders


• 7) Coordination with customer for FAT and dispatch related activities


• 8) Coordination for Post dispatch service activities


• 9) Escalation management which include handling communication with higher management at customer end

Candidate should possess:

• Good knowledge about medium voltage power distribution system and protection system for AIS panels


• Knowledge of IS/IEC standards applicable for MV systems.


• Should have CRM development skill and negotiation skill. Able to connect at higher management level at customer level.


• Good Communication skill both written as well as verbal. Should be able to communicate in contractual language with customers


• Capable to interact independently with client for technical discussions.


• Prior experience in customer handling functions will be added advantage.


• Able to handle complex situation and pressure including escalations from customer, delays from factory due to external factors( like war, covid), post delivery issues etc.

Education:

: B.E. Electrical Engineering with minimum 5-7 Years of Experience. Diploma in electrical with 8-10 years experience.
