Beyond Border Consultants is seeking a skilled Formulation Chemist to drive toothpaste development in India. You will design and prototype formulations, targeting whitening, sensitivity relief, enamel repair, and gum health, while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Competenze

• Formulation chemist with hands-on experience in toothpaste development.
• Experience in stability, viscosity, pH, and sensory evaluations.
• Ability to source raw materials and manage supplier vetting.
• Familiarity with BIS and FSSAI regulatory requirements.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and optimize toothpaste formulations using functional ingredients for whitening, sensitivity relief, enamel repair, or gum health.
• Conduct stability, viscosity, pH, and sensory evaluations to ensure performance, shelf life, and consumer acceptability.
• Collaborate with packaging, marketing, and regulatory teams to align formulation specs with brand positioning and local compliance.
• Lead ingredient sourcing and supplier vetting for raw materials, prioritizing performance, cost, and sustainability.
• Document formulation trials, scale-up parameters, and batch records to ensure reproducibility and regulatory audit readiness.
