Job summary

Eice Technology is seeking an Oracle Technical Lead / Enterprise Database Architect to guide architecture, design, and deployment of large-scale Oracle database solutions. The role emphasizes deep expertise in Oracle DB, SQL/PLSQL, performance tuning, and governance, with strong collaboration across teams.

You will build CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, work within Agile/Scrum, and support Snowflake data design and migration efforts.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of Oracle Database Development and Architecture experience.
• Strong SQL/PLSQL, stored procedures, performance tuning, and data modeling.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Snowflake, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, development, and implementation of enterprise Oracle database solutions.
• Design and optimize schemas, tables, indexes, views, procedures, and complex SQL/PLSQL.
• Perform performance tuning, backup/recovery, DR planning, and high availability.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Oracle deployments using Azure DevOps.
• Work in Agile/Scrum, manage DevOps repos, work items, and release pipelines.
• Support Snowflake design, data migration, ETL/ELT, and performance optimization.
• Utilize AI tools to improve productivity and code quality; enforce standards and governance.

Job Title: Oracle Technical Lead / Enterprise Database Architect

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Technical Lead / Enterprise Database Architect with 12+ years of experience in Oracle Database Development, Architecture, and Enterprise Database Solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Oracle Database Architecture, SQL/PLSQL, Performance Tuning, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Database Governance, and Agile methodologies. Experience with Snowflake and AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot) will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, development, and implementation of enterprise Oracle database solutions.
• Design and optimize database schemas, tables, indexes, views, stored procedures, packages, functions, and complex SQL/PLSQL queries.
• Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, backup & recovery, disaster recovery, and high availability planning.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Oracle database deployments using Azure DevOps.
• Work in Agile/Scrum environments, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Manage Azure DevOps repositories, work items, pull requests, release pipelines, and sprint tracking.
• Support Snowflake database design, data migration, ETL/ELT processes, and performance optimization.
• Utilize GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools to improve developer productivity and code quality.
• Implement database security, governance, compliance, auditing, and enterprise database best practices.
• Define and enforce database standards, coding guidelines, architecture principles, and governance within a Development Center of Excellence (DevCoE).
• Conduct architecture reviews, technical audits, code reviews, and mentor development teams on Oracle database best practices.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing database solutions.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Oracle Database Development and Architecture.
• Strong expertise in Oracle Database Architecture, Solution Design, and Data Modeling.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Packages, Functions, Triggers, Views, and Performance Tuning.
• Strong knowledge of Query Optimization, Indexing, Backup & Recovery, Disaster Recovery (DR), and High Availability (HA).
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD Pipelines, Source Control, Release Management, and Sprint Tracking.
• Good understanding of Snowflake, including database design, data migration, ETL/ELT, and performance optimization.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong understanding of Database Security, Governance, Compliance, Auditing, and Enterprise Data Management.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, documentation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools.
• Exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Microsoft Azure, or other cloud platforms.
• Experience working in a Development Center of Excellence (DevCoE).
• Oracle Database Certifications are a plus.
