Job summary

YASH Technologies is seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant to lead Oracle Financials rollouts and provide functional leadership across AP, AR, GL, FA, and CM. The role requires 5–8+ years of hands-on experience and strong collaboration with business and IT teams.

The consultant will translate business requirements into functional designs, configure Oracle EBS, and support testing, data migration, and post-go-live stabilization across multiple entities.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years as Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant.
• Strong functional knowledge of AP, AR, GL, FA, CM.
• Hands-on experience in Oracle EBS implementations and rollouts.
• Solid understanding of financial accounting principles and business processes.
• Ability to bridge business and technical teams; experience with interfaces and XML Publisher.
• Experience in testing, support, and post-go-live stabilization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as functional consultant for Oracle EBS Financial modules (AP, AR, GL, FA, CM).
• Lead and support Oracle EBS rollout and support projects, including multi-entity rollouts.
• Engage with business users to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
• Translate requirements into functional design and configuration of Oracle EBS.
• Perform setup and configuration for ledgers, accounting setups, taxation, and reporting structures.
• Collaborate with technical teams to design, develop, and test extensions, reports, and interfaces.
• Support data migration, financial reconciliation, and validation during implementation and upgrades.
• Prepare project documentation: BRD, FRD, CV, test scripts, UAT support, training materials.

We are seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Finance Functional Consultant with 5 to 8+ years ofhands-on experience in Oracle Financials. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in AccountsPayable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management(CM), along with proven experience in Oracle EBS rollouts and implementations.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and integration teams totranslate business requirements into functional solutions, configure Oracle EBS applications, and ensuresuccessful project delivery across all phases.

Responsibilities

• As a functional consultant for Oracle EBS Financial modules including AP, AR, GL, FA, and CM.
• Lead and support Oracle EBS rollout & support projects, including global or multi-entity rollouts.
• Engage with business users to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Convert business requirements into functional design and configuration of Oracle EBS Financial modules.
• Perform application setup and configuration, including setups for ledgers, accounting setups, taxation,and reporting structures.
• Work closely with technical and integration teams to design, develop, and test customizations,extensions, reports, and interfaces.
• Support data migration, financial reconciliation, and validation activities during implementation andupgrades.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including:
  • Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
  • Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
  • Configuration Documents (CV)
  • Test scripts and UAT support documentation
  • Training materials and user manuals
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.
• Provide end-user training, system walkthroughs, and post-go-live support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with upstream and downstreamsystems.
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and support resolution in a timely manner. Strong analytical andproblem-solving abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong ownership and accountability mindset.

Required Technical/ Functional Competencies

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience as an Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant.
• Strong functional knowledge of: AP, AR, GL, FA, CM
• Hands-on experience in Oracle EBS implementations and rollouts.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and business processes.
• Ability to bridge business and technical teams effectively.
• Experience working with technical components such as interfaces, reports (XML Publisher), and extensions
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Experience in testing, support, and post-go-live stabilization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle EBS R12 experience (mandatory).
• Experience working in multi-country or multi-legal entity environments.
• Knowledge of taxation, localization, and compliance requirements.
• Exposure to Oracle Financial Project Accounting (PA) is a plus.
• Oracle certification(s) in Financial modules is an added advantage.
