Qualifications

• Experience in installing and configuring Siebel on Windows and Linux environments.
• Proven track record of performing Siebel upgrades to the latest versions, including IP17 and above.
• Knowledge of Siebel Gateway clustering and multimode AI load balancing.
• Expertise in performance tuning of Siebel components such as server, AOM, AI, Gateway, and Tomcat.
• Skills in troubleshooting EAI component crashes, analyzing crash dumps, FDRs, and component logs.
• Proficient in system administration activities, including configuring application components and parameters.
• Troubleshooting skills related to component crashes, SSO, LDAP integration with AD, and general troubleshooting.
• Strong overall troubleshooting abilities for Siebel environments.
• Experience in automating routine administrative tasks to improve efficiency.
• Preferable experience with WLS, BIP, OAS, OAP installation, upgrades, and integration with Siebel.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery (DR) setup, testing, and management.
• Experience in managing Siebel environments on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or other cloud platforms.
• Monitoring system performance and managing the administration of Siebel environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective customer interaction.
• Willingness to work in a 24x7 shift environment.
• Flexible to travel to customer offices as required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system performance and manage the administration of Siebel environments.
• Troubleshoot component crashes and analyze logs.
• Automate routine administrative tasks to improve efficiency.
• Perform performance tuning of Siebel components (server, AOM, AI, Gateway, Tomcat).
• Troubleshoot EAI crashes, analyze crash dumps and logs.
• Administer Siebel applications and parameters; monitor performance.
• Address SSO/LDAP integration issues and general troubleshooting.
• Automate routine admin tasks to improve efficiency.
• Possibly install/upgrade WLS, BIP, OAS, OAP; integrate with Siebel.
• Plan and test DR setups; manage OCI and other cloud deployments.
• Travel to client sites as required; communicate clearly with customers.
