Job summary

BB Works is seeking an Oracle PL/SQL + OAF Developer with further specialization in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). You will design and extend OAF components, build robust backend logic, and deliver end-to-end ERP solutions aligned with critical business processes.

You will contribute to developing custom pages, workflows, and RICE components across Oracle Financials and SCM modules, while ensuring optimal performance and reliable deployments in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• Oracle EBS R12 Technical certification preferred
• Strong PL/SQL development and performance tuning
• Experience with OAF customization and page extensions

Responsibilities

• OAF Development & Customization: design and develop custom pages, extend Oracle EBS pages, personalization

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle PL/SQL + OAF Developer with over a decade of experience in designing and customizing Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications. This role is ideal for a technically strong individual who can build robust backend logic, extend Oracle Application Framework (OAF) components, and deliver end-to-end ERP solutions that align with critical business processes.

As a core member of our Oracle development team, youll be responsible for building custom components, integrating workflows, and ensuring high system performance and user satisfaction across Oracle Financials and Supply Chain modules.

Key Responsibilities

• OAF Development & Customization: Design and develop custom pages, extend existing Oracle EBS pages, and apply personalization as per business requirements. Design and develop custom Oracle Application Framework (OAF) pages and workflows based on functional specifications
• Backend Logic: Develop complex PL/SQL code for data processing, validation, and backend integration with Oracle EBS modules.
• Workflow Customization: Customize seeded workflows and develop new workflow processes using Oracle Workflow Builder.
• RICEW Components: Build and maintain RICE (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) components for Oracle modules such as AP, AR, PO, GL, and INV.
• Reporting: Create and manage reports using XML Publisher and support BI integrations.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize PL/SQL queries and OAF pages to enhance application performance and user experience.
• Documentation & Testing: Provide detailed technical documentation, participate in code reviews, and support SIT/UAT and production deployments.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants, DBAs, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant ERP solutions.

• Performance tuning – SQL trace, explain plans, optimization best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
• Certifications: Oracle EBS R12 Technical or Developer Certification (preferred)
• Oracle PL/SQL or OAF specialization (a plus)
• Hands-on experience with Oracle personalization frameworks and page extensions
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Git)
• Exposure to Oracle Cloud ERP (hybrid/cloud-readiness experience is a plus)
