Job summary

TRUGlobal Inc. is seeking an Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) consultant in Bengaluru to design, develop, and maintain integrations across Oracle Fusion ERP/HCM and third-party platforms.

The candidate will build secure REST and SOAP services, optimize SQL/PL-SQL, and deliver BIP reports and OTBI analytics. Ideal for professionals with 4–7+ years of OIC experience, familiar with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI, and with strong Oracle Cloud knowledge.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years of experience as an Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) consultant.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong experience with REST and SOAP APIs, Oracle SQL/PL-SQL, and Oracle BI Publisher (BIP).
• Experience designing, building, testing, and consuming secure RESTful APIs and SOAP Web Services.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and consume secure RESTful APIs and SOAP Web Services for Oracle Fusion integrations.
• Build and maintain scalable integrations using OIC with REST, SOAP, and adapters.

Job Title: Oracle Integration Cloud Consultant

The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST and SOAP APIs, Oracle SQL/PL-SQL, and Oracle BI Publisher (BIP).

Key Responsibilities:

API & Integration Development:

Design, build, test, and consume secure RESTful APIs and SOAP Web Services (JSON, XML, WSDL, OpenAPI/Swagger) for seamless data exchange between Oracle Fusion systems and third-party platforms.

Build and maintain scalable integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) utilizing REST, SOAP, Oracle Fusion/ERP Cloud, HCM, and database adapters.

Implement authentication standards (OAuth 2.0, Basic Auth, API Keys, SSL certificates) and configure custom REST endpoints within Oracle Cloud.

Database & Business Logic Development:

Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, triggers, and custom data-processing scripts.

Perform SQL query performance tuning, index optimization, and data modeling for high-volume transaction staging.

Reporting & Data Utilities:

Design and deliver custom Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) data models, layout templates (RTF/Excel/eText), and reports, as well as OTBI analytics.

Build automated data extraction pipelines using FBDI (File-Based Data Import), HDL (HCM Data Loader), HCM extract, and API-triggered background jobs.

Create detailed technical design specifications (TD080/MD070), Postman collections, mapping sheets, and architecture diagrams.

Perform unit testing, API payload validation, exception handling, and post-production hypercare support.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Web Services & Integrations:

Deep understanding and practical experience working with REST and SOAP APIs (payload design, JSON/XML handling, HTTP methods, status codes, and security mechanisms).

Hands-on development experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

Core Technical Development:

Advanced proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL (collections, bulk processing, dynamic SQL, and performance tuning).

Hands-on experience developing data models and layouts in Oracle BI Publisher (BIP).

Oracle Domain Knowledge:

Technical exposure to data structures, APIs, and business events across Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (Projects, HCM, Financials, or SCM).

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

4–7+ years of experience as an Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Consultant.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

Proficiency with API testing and debugging tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or cURL.

Experience with OIC global fault handling, centralized error logging, and webhooks.

Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services, API Gateway.
