Job summary

Wings Corporate Services seeks an experienced Oracle EPM Hyperion Planning consultant to lead the design, development, implementation, and support of Hyperion Planning solutions for finance and technical stakeholders.

The role is office-based (No WFH/Hybrid) and contract, requiring 5+ years of hands-on Hyperion EPM experience, especially Hyperion Planning 11.2.x, Essbase, and data integration. Urgent requirement; join in 2–3 weeks. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Oracle Hyperion EPM experience, with recent Hyperion Planning 11.2.x.
• Demonstrated experience delivering at least one end-to-end Hyperion Planning implementation.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Hyperion Planning and Essbase.
• Experience with Calc Manager, planning forms, and data integration.
• Knowledge of Data Management/FDMEE and BI reporting tools.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the application design architect and technical lead for Hyperion Planning and Essbase.
• Lead end-to-end implementation activities: requirements workshops, design, build, test, deploy, and support.
• Configure planning applications, dimensions, forms, workflows, security, and approvals.
• Develop calculation logic, optimize performance, and support data integration.
• Collaborate with finance users, architects, and vendors to translate requirements into solutions.
• Prepare technical documents, test evidence, and knowledge-transfer material.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EPM Hyperion Planning consultant to lead the design, development, implementation, and support of Oracle Hyperion Planning solutions. The consultant will partner with finance and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting applications, including Essbase and enterprise-system integrations.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5+ years of hands-on Oracle Hyperion EPM experience, with strong recent experience in Hyperion Planning 11.2.x.
• Demonstrated experience delivering at least one end-to-end Hyperion Planning implementation or major enhancement.
• Strong hands-on expertise in:
• Hyperion Planning and Essbase
• Calculation Manager and business rules
• Planning forms, composite forms, task lists, menus, and dashboards
• Metadata management, dimensions, shared members, and data load processes
• Data Management/FDMEE and integration design
• Smart View and Financial Reporting/Reports
• Shared Services security and Lifecycle Management
• Strong functional knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, workforce, capex, and project planning models.
• Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, SIT/UAT support, deployment, and post-production support.
• Strong problem-solving, stakeholder-management, documentation, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Role & responsibilities

• Act as the application design architect and technical lead for Oracle Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications.
• Lead end-to-end implementation activities: requirements workshops, solution design, build, testing, deployment, documentation, and production support.
• Design and configure Planning applications, plan types, dimensions, hierarchies, data forms, task lists, menus, workflow, security, and approvals.
• Develop calculation logic using Calculation Manager, business rules, and Essbase calculations; troubleshoot and optimize calculation performance.
• Build and maintain Planning models for P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, workforce, capex, projects, and driver-based planning.
• Develop integrations with ERP, HRMS, data warehouse, and other source systems using Data Management/FDMEE, ODI, files, APIs, and automation scripts, as applicable.
• Manage metadata, data loads, data validation, reconciliations, and operational processes.
• Support Smart View and Financial Reporting/Reports requirements.
• Administer and support Lifecycle Management (LCM), Shared Services security, environment migrations, release deployment, and defect resolution.
• Collaborate with finance users, architects, infrastructure teams, and third-party vendors to translate business requirements into fit-for-purpose EPM solutions.
• Prepare technical design documents, test evidence, user guides, and knowledge-transfer material.
