De Novo Solutions seeks an Oracle Fusion Tech Consultant (Data Migration) to design, develop and deliver data migration solutions across Oracle Cloud platforms. You will focus on HDL and FBDI data loads, data mapping, transformation, and quality validation while supporting junior consultants.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define migration standards, templates and reusable assets, ensuring delivery excellence across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• 3–5 years of Oracle Cloud data migration experience.
• Experience delivering Oracle Cloud programmes in a consulting environment.
• Expertise with HDL (HCM Data Loader) and FBDI (File-Based Data Import).

Responsibilities

Role

We are seeking an Oracle Fusion Technical Consultant (Data Migration) who contributes to the design, development, and delivery of Oracle Cloud data migration solutions across multiple client and internal programmes.

This role requires strong expertise in HCM Data Loader (HDL) and File-Based Data Import (FBDI), covering both HCM and ERP data loads, combined with good communication and stakeholder management skills to work effectively across delivery environments.

As the Data Migration Technical Consultant, you will contribute to migration standards and design decisions, support junior consultants, and help ensure delivery quality across projects. You will also contribute to building reusable migration assets and the long-term data migration capability of the organisation. This role requires working in a customer-facing capacity and requires stakeholder management, including client and cross-functional teams. Strong experience working in distributed teams across time zones is essential.

Migration Architecture & Solution Design

• Contribute to the design and delivery of data migration solutions
• Support migration architecture decisions across Oracle Cloud platforms
• Contribute to data migration approach and scope documentation
• Support data mapping, transformation, and cleansing activities
• Contribute to reusable migration templates and tooling
• Help define migration error handling, reconciliation, and validation strategies

HCM Data Loader (HDL) – Design, Build, Test and Support delivery of:

• Worker, employment, and assignment data loads
• Compensation, benefits, and absence data migrations
• Talent and performance history migrations
• Organisation structure and position data loads
• HDL dat file construction, validation, and submission
• Error resolution and load reconciliation

Ensure strong implementation of:

• Pre-load data validation and cleansing
• Incremental and full-load strategies
• Rollback and re-load approaches
• Post-load reconciliation and sign-off

File-Based Data Import (FBDI) – Design, Build, Test and Support delivery of:

• General Ledger journal and balance data loads
• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable data migrations
• Fixed Assets and Projects data loads
• Procurement and inventory data migrations
• FBDI spreadsheet template management and versioning
• UCM upload processes and monitoring
• Load monitoring, error handling, and reconciliation
• Ensure strong implementation of:
• Pre-import data validation and cleansing
• Import batch management and scheduling
• Post-import reconciliation and validation
• Performance optimisation for large data volumes

Oracle Fusion Data Migration – Develop migration solutions across:

• Oracle HCM Cloud
• Oracle ERP Cloud
• Payroll data migrations

• Oracle data loading mechanisms (HDL, FBDI, REST APIs)
