Job summary

The Corporate Institute is seeking an Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant to join our IT consulting team in Bangalore. The role requires 5–8 years of experience with Oracle Financials Cloud and hands-on knowledge of AP, AR, GL, FA, CM, and Tax modules.

You will work from the HSR Layout office with a 10:00–19:00 or 11:00–20:00 schedule and 48 days of WFH per year. This is a permanent position with a 20–30 LPA salary package.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience in Fusion Finance Applications (AP, AR, GL, FA, CM) and Tax.
• Experience in IT industry finance systems analysis, solution design, and deployment.
• Strong understanding of setup/configuration and end-user support.

Responsibilities

• Handle Fusion Finance modules – AP, AR, GL, FA, CM and Tax, with 5+ years of experience.
• Engage with end-users to clarify incidents and provide resolutions for global users.
• Collaborate with business units to optimize application use and enhance functionality.
• Document requirements, coordinate process improvements, and maintain system interfaces.
• Support change management, test plans, and user testing for system changes.
• Contribute to new ERP initiatives, deployments, and migrations of business units.

Job Timing: Dayshift

Candidate Requirements:

• If they are comfortable with 48 days WFH throughout the year.
• Working hours will be 10 am to 7 pm OR 11 am to 8 pm (depending upon their project).
• There is no cab facility provided by the company so will they be comfortable traveling to HSR Layout office on their own?

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Should have around 5+ years of experience in core Oracle Fusion Finance Applications Modules – AP, AR, GL, FA, CM and Tax.
• 5 to 8 years of IT industry work experience including finance systems analysis, solution design, and deployment using Oracle applications and/or other major ERP systems.
• Understanding set-up/configuration/administration areas to support current service portfolio.
• Interact with end-users on clarification of incidents/per­‑oms and provide resolution to global users.
• Partner with business units to ensure efficient use of the application and help enhance application functionality.
• Responsible for understanding the current process, identifying, and delivering service improvements.
• Configure new organizational structures whenever required.
• Coordinate process improvements with business; gather and document functional requirements.
• Maintain and improve system interfaces between key applications.
• Support the change management process to manage patch applications and configuration changes.
• Develop test plans and manage user testing for system changes.
• Support new ERP or business unit initiatives and projects, including new functionality, process improvements, or migration of new business units onto the system.

Skills:

• 5 to 8 years of experience working with Oracle Financials Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Procurement modules: Purchasing, iProcurement, Inventory.
• Good project management, planning, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a desire to learn and develop new skills.
• Ability to present ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly manner to end users and senior management.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact credibly at all levels of the organization.
• Bachelor’s or masters degree in computer science, Engineering, Accounting, or a related field.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.

Mandatory Requirements:

• The candidate should have at least 4.5 years of relevant experience in Fusion Finance.
• The candidate should have worked as a Functional Consultant, not as an end user.
• The candidate should be willing to work from the Bangalore office.
• The candidate should have experience in both Implementation and Support projects.
