Chanderpur Works in Haryana, India is seeking an Oracle EBS Financials functional consultant. The role focuses on GL, AP, AR, FA, and CM modules, delivering functional solutions and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

You will work with cross-functional teams to implement setups, workflows, and approval hierarchies, and you will support post-go-live stabilization while performing reconciliations and period-end activities.

Qualifications

• Must have strong functional knowledge of Oracle EBS Financials (R12) GL, AP, AR, FA, CM.
• Able to read and interpret ledgers and financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet).
• Experience with GST and TDS compliance as per Oracle India Localization.
• Experience with period-end and year-end close processes.

Job description

Role & responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze business requirements and provide functional solutions across Oracle EBS Financial modules.
• Configure and support GL, AP, AR, FA, and CM modules including setups, workflows, and approval hierarchies.
• Coordinate with technical teams for customizations, reports, interfaces, conversions, and workflows.
• Support post-go-live stabilization.
• Perform sub-ledger to GL reconciliation (AP-GL, AR-GL, FA-GL) identify and resolve variances between sub-ledger and GL balances.
• Understand accounting entries generated by each module (invoice, payment, receipt, depreciation, revaluation) and their GL impact.
• Working knowledge of Indian taxation GST (input/output, RCM, GST TDS) and Income Tax TDS as configured in Oracle India Localization, including tax setups and their reconciliation with books.
• Manage period-end close activities GL period open/close, sub-ledger period close, transfer to GL, and closing checklist adherence.
• Perform user training and process improvement activities.

Required Skills:

• Strong functional knowledge of Oracle EBS Financials (R12) GL, AP, AR, FA, CM.
• Working understanding of accounting principles and financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) — should be able to read and interpret ledgers, not just configure them.
• Ability to independently perform AP-GL / AR-GL / FA-GL reconciliation and explain variances.
• Practical exposure to GST and TDS compliance as applied through Oracle (not just theoretical tax knowledge).
• Experience with period-end/year-end close process and troubleshooting close-blocking issues.
• Familiarity with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes end-to-end, including their accounting impact.
• Familiarity with AIM documentation, Oracle standard APIs, and interfaces.

Preferred:

• Prior experience as an accountant/finance executive before/alongside Oracle functional role (gives edge in reconciliation-heavy environments).
