Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is seeking an experienced Oracle EPCM Specialist to design, configure, and support EPCM solutions. You will drive profit & cost management models, allocate costs, and collaborate with Finance and Engineering teams to deliver scalable, governance-aligned implementations.

The role emphasizes acting as a trusted advisor, staying current with EPM roadmap, and delivering continuous improvements across enterprise platforms.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience implementing or supporting Oracle EPM Cloud solutions.
  • Deep expertise in Oracle Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management (EPCM).
  • Strong knowledge of Financial Planning, Cost Management, and Management Reporting.
  • Experience designing and deploying complex profitability and allocation models.
  • Experience with Calculation Manager, Groovy, data integrations, and metadata management.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle Fusion Applications, or equivalent platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own and prioritise business requirements related to Oracle EPCM and EPM applications.
  • Partner with Finance and Corporate Function stakeholders to document detailed requirements.
  • Design and configure profitability and cost allocation models for planning and performance management.
  • Build and maintain rule sets, drivers, calculations, and reporting within Oracle EPCM.
  • Analyse processes to improve efficiency, transparency, and decision-making through technology.
  • Support enterprise planning transformation through standardisation and automation.
  • Evaluate Oracle monthly releases and implement enhancements where appropriate.
  • Plan, test, and deploy solution enhancements with governance and controls.
  • Collaborate with Architecture, Engineering, Data, Test, Change, and Operations teams.
  • Serve as trusted advisor on EPM best practices and optimisation opportunities.
  • Stay current with Oracle EPM roadmap developments and industry trends.

Role Summary

Enterprise Functions Engineering drives the strategy, delivery, and support of LSEG's enterprise platforms across Finance, Risk and other corporate functions. As an Oracle EPM EPCM Specialist, you will contribute to the design, configuration, support, and continuous improvement of Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions, with a focus on Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management (EPCM). Working closely with Enterprise Functions stakeholders and Engineering teams, you will help deliver scalable profitability and cost allocation solutions that support strategic decision-making across the organisation. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about solving complex business challenges, improve transparency in financial performance, and drive continuous process improvement.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Manager or Lead Consultant, Senior Consultant, or Solution Architect with hands-on implementation and support of Oracle EPM Cloud solutions, specifically EPCM. Strong understanding of profitability modelling, cost allocation methodologies, managerial accounting, and driver-based planning and allocations. Experience designing and implementing complex allocation frameworks and profitability models within large enterprise environments. Deep understanding of Finance transformation initiatives and Enterprise Performance Management best practices. Experience integrating Oracle EPM with ERP, data warehouses, and reporting platforms. Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively within a wider delivery team. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication capabilities.

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities
  • Own and prioritise business requirements related to Oracle EPCM and associated EPM applications.
  • Partner with Finance and Corporate Function stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document detailed business requirements.
  • Design and configure profitability and cost allocation models that support business planning and performance management objectives.
  • Build and maintain rule sets, drivers, calculations, metadata structures, allocations, and reporting solutions within Oracle EPCM.
  • Analyse business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, transparency, and decision-making through technology.
  • Support enterprise planning transformation initiatives through process standardisation and automation.
  • Evaluate Oracle monthly releases and implement enhancements where appropriate.
  • Plan, test, and deploy solution enhancements while ensuring alignment with governance and control requirements.
  • Collaborate with Architecture, Engineering, Data, Test, Change, and Operations teams to ensure successful delivery outcomes.

Technical / Professional Skills & Competencies

Essential Skills

  • 7+ years of experience implementing or supporting Oracle EPM Cloud solutions.
  • Deep expertise in Oracle Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management (EPCM).
  • Strong knowledge of Financial Planning, Cost Management, Management Reporting, and Enterprise Performance Management processes.
  • Experience designing and deploying complex profitability and allocation models.
  • Experience with Calculation Manager - Groovy, metadata management, reporting and data integrations.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle EPM architecture and integration patterns.
  • Experience working with Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle Fusion Applications, or equivalent enterprise platforms.
  • Strong SQL, data analysis, and reconciliation capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate technical solutions effectively to both technical and business audiences.
  • Strong project delivery, prioritisation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working across the full solution lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Desired Skills
  • Experience with Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS), Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS), EDM, or Narrative Reporting.
  • Knowledge of strategic cost management and transfer pricing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Azure, cloud integration technologies, and enterprise data platforms.
  • Experience within global financial services or complex multinational organisations.
  • Agile delivery experience and familiarity with DevOps practices.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
Education / Certifications
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Oracle EPM Cloud Certification, preferably in Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management.
  • Professional accounting or finance qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) are desirable.
