A major IT consulting firm in Gurugram is seeking a Mid-Senior level Oracle Database Administrator. The role requires hands-on experience with Oracle databases, including versions 9i, 10g, and 11g, as well as strong skills in troubleshooting and upgrades, particularly in multi-node RAC environments. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on complex database systems and contribute to optimizing performance.

Qualifications

• Experience with IBM AIX, Linux, and SUN Solaris UNIX.
• Hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA with versions 9i, 10g, and 11g.
• Experience in applying PSU patches for Oracle databases.
• Experience in upgrading databases to 11gR2 in RAC environments.
• Experience with Golden Gate implementation and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Experience with IBM AIX, Linux, SUN Solaris UNIX operating Systems.
• Hands‑on experience as an Oracle DBA, working with Oracle 9i, 10g and 11g.
• Need to apply PSU patches to various versions of Oracle databases – rolling for RAC Systems.
• Upgrades of databases to 11gR2 – Rolling upgrades for RAC environment is a plus.
• Experience with Golden Gate implementation and troubleshooting.
• Install, configure and troubleshooting experience on multi‑node RAC systems on ASM.
• Upgrade & migration of large databases across data centres.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and propose solutions.
• ASM instance creation and troubleshooting.

Good understanding of Oracle architecture.
