Job summary

Unison Group in Mumbai is seeking a Technical Consultant with 4–8 years of implementation experience in Oracle Banking products, including Core Banking, CASA, OBIC, and Corporate Deposits. The role focuses on deploying patches, supporting EOD processing, and performing data migrations.

You will work on patch deployments, data reconciliation, and Tomcat-based deployments while optimizing Oracle Database performance to ensure smooth financial processing. Onsite at client locations is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of implementation experience in Oracle Banking products.
• Experience across Core Banking, CASA, OBIC, and Corporate Deposits.
• Knowledge of patchset/hotfix deployment and EOD processing.
• Ability to deploy on Tomcat and perform data migrations.
• Onsite implementation or support experience preferred.

Job description

We are looking for a Technical Consultant with 4–8 years of implementation experience in Oracle Banking products, primarily across Core Banking, CASA, OBIC, and Corporate Deposits (CD), Gateway (Webservices/Rest), Generic Asicii Interface

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy patchsets and hotfixes across implementation and support environments.
• Support End-of-Day (EOD) processing, troubleshoot common EOD issues, and resolve EOD aborts.
• Perform migration activities, including data uploads using upload utilities and post-migration reconciliation.
• Develop stubs and scripts for data patches, reconciliation, temporary fixes, and EOD issue resolution.
• Deploy applications and updates on the Tomcat application server.
• Analyze and tune Oracle database performance to support application processing.

Required Technical Skills

Hands-on experience with the ODT technology stack, including RAD and PL/SQL. (includes Gateway (Webservices/Rest), Generic Asicii Interface)

• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database and database performance tuning.
• Working knowledge of Java.
• Experience with patchset and hotfix deployments, EOD troubleshooting, migration utilities, and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with application deployments on Tomcat.
• Implementation experience in Core Banking, CASA, OBIC (Critical), and Corporate Deposits.

Secondary Skills

• Technical knowledge of Oracle Banking Party (OB Party) and Oracle Banking Payments (OBPM).

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with Oracle Banking version 14.6 and above.
• Onsite implementation or support experience at customer locations.
