Job summary

Unison Group is seeking a Technical Consultant with 4-8 years of hands-on Oracle Banking experience across Core Banking, CASA, OBIC and CD. The role involves patchset deployments, EOD processing support, and data migrations, with scripting for patches and EOD fixes.

Tomcat deployments and DB tuning are part of the duties, with onsite client engagement often expected. Ideal candidates will have strong PL/SQL, Java, and Oracle DB expertise, and familiarity with the ODT stack and RAD.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of implementation experience in Oracle Banking products across Core Banking, CASA, OBIC and CD.
• Hands-on with ODT stack including RAD and PL/SQL; strong Oracle DB knowledge.
• Experience deploying patchsets/hotfixes, EOD troubleshooting, migrations and data patches.
• Experience deploying on Tomcat and performance tuning of Oracle DB.
• Onsite implementation or support experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform migration activities, including data uploads using upload utilities and post-migration reconciliation.

• Deploy applications and updates on the Tomcat application server.
• Analyze and tune Oracle database performance to support application processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy patchsets and hotfixes across implementation and support environments.
• Support End-of-Day (EOD) processing, troubleshoot common EOD issues, and resolve EOD aborts.
• Perform migration activities, including data uploads using upload utilities and post-migration reconciliation.
• Develop stubs and scripts for data patches, reconciliation, temporary fixes, and EOD issue resolution.
• Deploy applications and updates on the Tomcat application server.
• Analyze and tune Oracle database performance to support application processing.

Required Technical Skills

Hands-on experience with the ODT technology stack, including RAD and PL/SQL. (includes Gateway (Webservices/Rest), Generic Asicii Interface)

• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database and database performance tuning.
• Working knowledge of Java.
• Experience with patchset and hotfix deployments, EOD troubleshooting, migration utilities, and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with application deployments on Tomcat.
• Implementation experience in Core Banking, CASA, OBIC (Critical), and Corporate Deposits.

Secondary Skills

• Technical knowledge of Oracle Banking Party (OB Party) and Oracle Banking Payments (OBPM).

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with Oracle Banking version 14.6 and above.
• Onsite implementation or support experience at customer locations.
