Job summary

Altraize is seeking an experienced Oracle APEX developer to design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade applications for Fortune 500 and mid-market clients. You will optimize SQL/PL/SQL, integrate REST APIs, and tailor UI/UX with JavaScript and CSS, ensuring accessibility and performance.

You will collaborate with business analysts to translate requirements into modular APEX components, participate in testing and deployment, and stay current with Oracle cloud services and tooling.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering Oracle APEX applications.
• Strong SQL/PL/SQL and REST API integration capabilities.
• Experience with Git-based version control and deployment workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy end-to-end Oracle APEX applications from wireframe to production.
• Optimize SQL queries, PL/SQL packages, and triggers for high performance.
• Integrate APEX apps with REST APIs and Oracle stack components.
• Customize UI/UX with JavaScript, CSS, and dynamic actions for usability.
• Collaborate with analysts to translate requirements into maintainable modules.
• Perform testing, version control, and deployment automation for zero-downtime releases.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy end-to-end Oracle APEX applications from wireframe to production for internal and client-facing use cases.
• Optimize SQL queries, PL/SQL packages, and database triggers to ensure high-performance, scalable APEX solutions.
• Integrate APEX apps with REST APIs, third-party SaaS tools, and other Oracle stack components (e.g., DBMS_SCHEDULER, OCI).
• Customize UI/UX using JavaScript, CSS, and APEX dynamic actions to meet usability and accessibility standards.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into functional, maintainable APEX modules.
• Perform application testing, version control (Git), and deployment automation to ensure zero-downtime releases.
