Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in PAN INDIA seeks an experienced Oracle APEX professional to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Oracle APEX, SQL, PL/SQL, and interactive reports. The role emphasizes end-to-end development, integration with REST APIs, ORDS, OIC, and VBCS for UI.

The role requires 7–12 years in enterprise IT, hands-on with VBCS, REST/ORDS, OIC, Fusion ERP APIs, OCI, and autonomous DB. You will implement end-to-end solutions and drive performance.

Qualifications

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Oracle APEX applications, including custom forms, interactive reports, dashboards, and workflow-driven business solutions.
• Strong expertise in Oracle APEX development using SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience in building Forms, Reports, Interactive Grids, and workflow-based applications.
• Proficiency in Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) for UI development and Fusion SaaS extensions.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, ORDS, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and web service integrations.
• Good understanding of Oracle Fusion ERP data structures, APIs, and cloud integration patterns.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database concepts, data modelling, and SQL performance tuning.
• Exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Autonomous Database environments.
• Experience delivering end-to-end application solutions across applications, integration, and database layers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Oracle APEX applications, including custom forms, interactive reports, dashboards, and workflow-driven business solutions to meet enterprise requirements.
• Leverage strong SQL and PL/SQL expertise to develop efficient database objects, stored procedures, packages, and optimized queries that support high-performance application processing.
• Build intuitive and responsive user interfaces using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS), ensuring a seamless user experience across desktop and mobile platforms.
• Develop and enhance workflow automation capabilities by translating business processes into automated, configurable, and auditable application workflows.
• Integrate Oracle APEX and VBCS applications with Oracle Fusion Applications and third-party systems using REST APIs, ORDS services, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Collaborate with functional stakeholders, business users, and solution architects to gather requirements, perform impact analysis, and propose effective technical solutions.
• Design and implement Fusion SaaS extensions and custom applications that complement Oracle Cloud solutions while adhering to Oracle-recommended extension frameworks.
• Perform application troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, performance tuning, and defect resolution across application, integration, and database layers to ensure system stability.
• Contribute to database design, data modelling, and optimization activities, including query tuning, indexing strategies, and management of Oracle Cloud and Autonomous Database environments.
• Prepare technical documentation, conduct knowledge-sharing sessions, support testing and deployment activities, and ensure adherence to development standards, security guidelines, and best practices throughout the application lifecycle
