Job summary

Medico Hub in Jeypore, Odisha, seeks a Consultant Ophthalmologist to conduct OPD/IPD, diagnose and manage eye conditions, and perform cataract surgeries. Immediate joining available; both full-time and visiting arrangements welcome. MS/DNB Ophthalmology with up to 5 years of experience preferred, freshers may apply.

Collaborate with OT staff and optometrists, maintain records, and ensure patient safety and protocol adherence. Salary negotiable based on experience and surgical skills.

Qualifications

• MS / DNB Ophthalmology is required.
• 0-5 years experience preferred; freshers may also apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OPD and IPD consultations for ophthalmology patients.
• Diagnose and manage eye conditions such as cataract, glaucoma, refractive errors, infections, and retinal disorders.
• Perform ophthalmic surgeries such as cataract (Phaco/SICS) and other procedures (if skilled).
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
• Conduct vision testing and prescribe corrective lenses.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and patient safety standards.
• Coordinate with optometrists and OT staff for smooth operations.
