Job summary

Talent Grade is seeking an ophthalmologist to conduct comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose conditions, and coordinate patient care in a hospital-based clinic in Raiganj, West Bengal. The role includes managing common eye diseases and performing routine procedures while ensuring thorough documentation and patient education.

Freshers are welcome; experienced doctors are preferred. The position requires medical registration and the ability to join from 1 November, with single furnished

Qualifications

• MBBS + MS/DNB/DO in Ophthalmology or equivalent qualification.
• Valid medical registration with the Medical Council/NMC.
• Freshers welcome; experienced candidates preferred.
• Willingness to join from 1 November; Raiganj, West Bengal hospital setting.
• Single furnished accommodation provided.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive ophthalmic examinations and diagnose eye-related conditions.
• Provide consultation, treatment, and follow-up care to patients.
• Perform routine ophthalmic procedures and minor interventions as required.
• Evaluate patients for surgical procedures and coordinate for surgery when necessary.
• Manage cataract, glaucoma, refractive errors, infections, and other ocular disorders.
• Maintain accurate patient records, clinical notes, and treatment plans.
• Educate patients regarding eye health, treatment options, medications, and post-treatment care.

Preferred candidate profile

• MBBS + MS/DNB/DO in Ophthalmology or equivalent recognized qualification.
• Valid medical registration with the relevant Medical Council/NMC.
• Freshers can be considered; experienced candidates will be preferred.
• Good clinical knowledge and ability to independently assess and manage routine ophthalmic cases.
• Strong patient-handling and communication skills.
• Candidates with exposure to ophthalmic procedures/surgeries will be preferred.
• Male candidates preferred.
• Candidates available to join from 1st November will be considered.
• Willingness to work in a hospital-based clinical setting in Raiganj, West Bengal.
