Job summary

CERATIZIT India Pvt. Ltd. is hiring for production operatives in Bommasandra, Karnataka.

You will operate CNC tool grinding and CNC machining equipment, load/unload materials, and assist with inspections per drawings and SOPs. Freshers, NEEM/NAPS/NATS trainees, apprentices, or candidates with up to 2 years of experience are eligible. Applicants should have ITI in fitter/turner/machinist or similar, basic CNC knowledge, and ability to read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of CNC machines and machining processes.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Familiarity with measuring instruments like Vernier Calipers and Micrometers.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC Tool Grinding, CNC Machining and other production machines per SOPs/ instructions.
  • Load/unload materials to meet production targets.
  • Perform in-process inspections per plans/ drawings.
  • Record inspection/ production data accurately.
  • Ensure product identification, barcoding, and traceability after completion.
  • Maintain 5S practices and safety compliance.
  • Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate assigned CNC Tool Grinding, CNC Machining, and other production machines as per SOPs and work instructions.
  • Load and unload materials/components safely to achieve production targets.
  • Follow machine loading charts, production plans, and supervisor instructions.
  • Perform in-process inspections as per inspection plans and engineering drawings.
  • Record inspection and production data accurately in relevant formats.
  • Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, and gauges for quality verification.
  • Prepare and maintain required tools, fixtures, gauges, and accessories for production.
  • Monitor machine conditions and report any quality, machine, or safety issues promptly.
  • Ensure proper product identification, barcoding, and traceability after job completion.
  • Maintain workplace cleanliness and adhere to 5S practices.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures while performing assigned tasks.
  • Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams for smooth operations.
PROFILE & REQUIREMENTS
  • ITI in Fitter, Turner, Machinist, CNC Operator, Tool & Die Maker, Mechanical Trades, or equivalent. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline preferred.
  • Freshers, NEEM/NAPS/NATS Trainees, Apprentices, and candidates with up to 2 years of experience are eligible.
  • Basic knowledge of CNC machines, machining processes, and manufacturing operations.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Familiarity with measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers and Micrometers.
  • Basic understanding of cutting tools manufacturing and inspection processes.
  • Good attention to detail, quality focus, and process discipline.
  • Willingness to work in shifts and comply with safety requirements.
