Job summary

TAPI in India seeks a hands-on Production Specialist with strong GMP knowledge to join our API operations. You will handle dispensing, process sampling, batch card documentation, and equipment operation, ensuring compliance with cGMP and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in pharma/API manufacturing, ERP skills, and strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities in a regulated environment. Bhind location offers challenging, impactful work within a global health mission.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Pharma/API industry.
• Hands-on production expertise with GMP knowledge.
• Familiarity with batch records and regulatory filing.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out dispensing activities as per applicable procedure.
• Carrying out process and sampling activities during production of Intermediates/APIs.
• Knowledge of Reactor, centrifuge, ANFD equipment.
• Record observations of reaction parameters on batch cards per procedure.
• Fill batch cards (production cleaning) per instructions.
• Verify weigh balances as per procedures.
• Maintain work procedures and cGMP/safety.
• Ensure plant housekeeping and equipment cleanliness.
• Report accidents and irregularities to Shift Officer.
• Troubleshooting and root cause analysis; develop solutions.
• Coordinate production tasks to meet schedule.
• Understand production procedures and safety basics.
• Demonstrate communication and teamwork.
• Experience in regulated environments (USFDA, WHO-GMP).
• Exposure to API manufacturing in pharma.

Job Description

We’re seeking a hands‑on production expert with deep GMP knowledge, ERP proficiency, and operational expertise in documentation, safety.

• Carrying out dispensing activities as per applicable procedure.
• Carrying out process and sampling activities during the production of Intermediate /API’s according to approved batch cards.
• Knowledge of equipment handling like Reactor, centrifuge, ANFD
• Responsible for recording the observations of reaction parameters on the batch card as per approved procedure.
• Filling of all the batch cards (production cleaning) as per approved instructions.
• Ensure verification of weigh balances as per applicable procedures.
• Maintain work procedure, safety precaution and cGMP.
• Ensure housekeeping of plant and cleanliness of the equipment, update the equipment
• Report accidents and irregularities at the work station to the Shift Officer.
• Knowledge to perform trouble shooting and root cause analysis. Develops solutions to complex problems requiring resourcefulness and creativity/innovation and ensures solutions are consistent with organisation’s objectives.
• Work is performed without appreciable direction while exercising considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment.
• Good organizational skills, basic first‑line management skills for daily operation, situational Leadership and decision‑making skills.
• Coordination of production tasks to meet assigned schedule.
• Good understanding of Production procedures.
• Good Understating of GMP & Safety
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Prior experience in regulated environments (USFDA, WHO-GMP, etc.)
• Exposure to API manufacturing in pharma.
